What are the Most Environmentally Friendly Materials?
The environment is a very important topic to consider when designing a product, and often overlooked. There are many materials that have been used in the past for their low cost or convenience, but they can be harmful to both our health and the environment. Many of these materials have been phased out due to environmental concerns, but there are still some being used today which pose an environmental risk.
Since the beginning of time, humans have been trying to figure out what materials are more environmentally friendly than others. There is a wide range of opinions on this topic and it is not always clear which ones are better. For example, there has been a lot of research going into bio-plastics recently because they can be made from renewable sources such as corn starch or sugarcane. However, some people think that using too many plastic products will contribute to pollution in our oceans and waterways if they end up being thrown away by consumers. In addition, some types of plastics take hundreds of years to break down in landfills so we need to find ways for them not to sit around forever!
